Breaking: stage 7 stopped due to increasing windy conditions

Race direction decided just now to call stage 7 to a halt due to increasing windy conditions, making it impossible for the helicopter to fly. Since safety cannot be guaranteed without a helicopter in the air, the race has been stopped.
At the moment of the decision, all motorbikes were already in competition, together with a few cars. They receive information about the cancellation and are guided back to the bivouac by the race direction.

🚁Our helicopters are key for the safety of our competitors! Rally raid is a dangerous sport and the safety of our competitors is our main priority. So there's no race when not all safety measures can be met. Having at least one helicopter in the air is a top safety priority. It enables the crisis center and medics to arrive quickly on site in case of an emergency. If wind is blowing 80km/h like today, our heli cannot fly and we HAVE to cancel the stage.🤷‍♂️ #safetyfirst #WeAreRally #TunisiaDesertChallenge
